My interpretation of Go Big or Go Home...

Many years ago I totalled my beautiful Brand New 93 MR2 Turbo.

We were doing 100+ on a canyon road and hit a dip which got us airborne and knocked me unconscious. The road turned right.

We didn't.

There were only 14 Hardtop MR2 Turbos in the world.

Now there are 13...................

Notice there is no glass, and you can't see the rear wheel in the first picture. It was smashed in from the impact.

The glass melted from the fire, and the aluminum head melted off of the cast block. There were only metal studs sticking out of the engine block.

When I went back to the scene several times, I found patches of aluminum that had melted into a puddle and then re-solidified.

The melting point of Aluminum is 1220 deg F

The melting point of Glass is 2800 deg F!

I'm glad my passenger pulled me out of that thing!
