Illinois State Rep. Mike Bost Goes on Tirade Over Pension Bill, Screams That Dems Should Be ‘Ashamed’ of Themselves

Illinois State Representative Mike Bost lost his cool on the House floor, screaming that Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for their handling of a pension reform bill.

He joined Fox and Friends Wednesday morning to detail exactly what got him so fired up, saying that a 290-page bill was brought before him yesterday morning. He said that the bill shifts the burden of the state’s $83 billion worth of unfunded pension liabilities to taxpayers, “instead of taking care of the real issue which is trying to reform the system so that it works sensibly and also meets its obligations.”

Here's the video:

Imagine if the government actually fixed all the programs, it would take years. But if they could just fix one a week it would be great. But then I am asking for them to actually do their jobs.

Bingo!!! We have our winner.

Boy, we taxpayers are getting to be a demanding lot. The government elites would enjoy their high paid jobs so much better if they didn't have to put up with us.

I think the only real way to fix the government is to make it so no official gets to be re-elected. They get one term and that is it.

That almost doesn't sound right, but I can't find fault with it.

On the one hand, moving people in and out of the government doesn't sound very stable, but allowing people to have multiple terms allows them to become more and more corrupt.

Plus they no longer represent their state. All our Texas representives and Senators set up lavish lifestyles in Va. They no longer live here with the common folk.

I'm with you...boot'em all out.

I would not argue to much with that.

Although I do think much more than 2 terms and them clowns got the game down pat. Then, its time they get the boot.

Trouble is, politicians will never vote themselves term limits. There are quite a few of those government positions that are very rich and powerful positions. Its like a narcotic to those that cannot do anything else. Those are just the kind of people that should not be there.

Ultimately, its up to the voter to give these clowns terms limits on our own terms.

But, will we do it?

God help us. We are in deep trouble.
