Have recently installed a 701 in my 600N. I am have a strange issue, with the giro newly installed and all gyro advanced menu options left at defaults, when i piro to the left full stick, the piro is very inconsistent, it will speed up drastically then slow down, when i pump the collective it really makes it piro so fast it turns in to a blurr. Also i have noticed at time the left stick is super sensitive to input, just touching the stick will make the heli rotate 20-30 degrees, this only happens sometimes, can usually get it to do it after aileron tick tock. Everything to the right works great. I have all trims at zero and linkage is centered in rate mode fairly well. My limits are set at 107% each way. I am getting full throw each way. Am using a 9256 servo. I have tried turning d/r way down to slow the piro which slows it down but it still has the same symptoms and will go ballistic, when i realease the rudder it sounds like the tails is going to explode. I have the sensor mounted inverted underneath the electical pod. Have not tried to move its location yet, i had to leave today for work i will be gone 28 days so i will not be able to try suggestions until i return home. Just trying to get some expert advice so i will be ready to go when i arrive.
Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

ps: Just switched from 611 and same 9256 servo and was not having any issues, most likely eliminating helicopter mechanics set up.

That sounds suspiciously like the rud>throttle compensation direction is backwards (defined by the CC/CCW and top/bottom designation).

You don't have the rudder FF mixing activated (requires S.Bus) do you?

Ok that sounds familiar now when you say that, i didnt have much time to investigate the problem before i left to go overseas. I thought i remember there being an orientation setting in the gyro (for how you have it mounted) is that right? it was a little while back when i set it up.

Im not using s-bus connecton so no FF mixing activated

Just looked through the manual online and i did not see anything in it like what i was thinking (gyro orientation up or down) only working direction. Maybe i was making that up in my head
