can i run my throttle servo directly to aux a or do i have to go buy a voltage regulator? if i can how would i get it to rx a signal since in the firmware it only lists aux switches to send signal there?

No, the throttle signal is only on the assigned output channel.
You can try a regulator or try a HV servo.
The Aux channels are just an electronic switch without a power output.
