Marvelcraft Koala-Trex600 mechs
New project done...easy flying sport scale. It is a Marvelcraft A119 Koala that I got in primer. Dropped in an eTrex, 4 blade head also from Eastcoast. Stabilization is a BeastX.

Paint by me, blades by Doorman and graphics by Callie. Also shown is Doorman's Marvelcraft 412...too much fun. Both great fliers.

Great looking koala, I like the NYPD scheme. Can't wait to get home from work travel and finish mine.

I prefer Duplicolor Acrylic Enamel. It is available at any Auto parts store.
Thanks

Paint....
I am going to check at the automotive paint supply house to see what they have..
I will be trying the paint that Rckfish uses..
The paint that I used on the Koala blades was something that I found at Lowes, called Valspar.. supposedly the equal to Krylon.. IT CERTAINLY IS NOT....I would not recommend it...
It just does not work well, and on finer work it is not good at all...
So, I am going to pick up the Duplicolor to redo the tail blades for both machines and also my mains now that all is set and running properly...
I am flying mine without a stabi system and it feels good with this head... but just to be sure it will be good when it is a bit breezy I will be popping a BeastX into mine also.. these make a very nice looking sport scale model...the glasswork is excellent, and the finish just needs to be seen in person to really appreciate it.. or you can do your own finish like Rckfish did...
