Revolectrix Cellpro 4s Multi- Calibrate?
is it possible for a user to calibrate this charger? i have my 2nd one ( the first one broke by itself after about a year) and it doesn't work properly. if i use accurate charge or faster charge, it would stop at about 90+% because of overvoltage. at 90%, each cell would be around 4.16-4.18v instead of about 4.1v and at 97-98% the cells are about 4.2v each, thus stopping abruptly and indicating overvoltage. my first cellpro 4s multi wasn't like this.
i have to use long-life 4.1 charging and it would stop at about 4.18v per cell, instead of 4.1v per cell. i tried contacting revolectrix but they never answer my emails. i have liked their chargers and i still want to use their chargers but it seems everything is against it
any and all suggestions are welcome and are appreciated

This can be caused by loose or dirty contacts on the pack, the adapter or on the charger. A good multimeter can give you some clues as to which one is the issue. A good contact cleaner may resolve this issue.

i don't think the problem is from dirty contacts. i am using the new balance board that came with it and i also tried using the one i had from the charger that broke and it's all the same.
i did forget to mention that when i charge, the % left on the lipo and the % it starts at are different by as much as 20% when i charge using C setting. when i manually set the charge rate to whatever amp, the indicated % the pack has and when it starts are very similar. this didn't happen with my other multi 4s. the charger that broke before had 1.50firmware i believe and my new charger is 1.83.
i think i wrote twice to the same email address and i never got any response inquiring about the code 112 error. i will try again about this new problem and i will let you guys know if i get a reply or not

What about the contacts on the charger itself?

Hi,

There is no way for you to calibrate the charger yourself. I would first perform a factory restore on the presets then charge a pack and see what you get. If the charger is still not charging correctly, you will need to send the charger in for service. You can contact me directly at howard@fmadirect.com and we can figure out how and where to return it. Thanks

all contact points on the charger and the balance boards are clean and looks new. there are no scratches anywhere. i will try what E2C recommends. i hope that will take care of the problem i don't mind sending the unit in but i don't want to wait too long
