I really do not see the benefit of the new DFC head. There seems to be a high occurance of strikes during tic-tocs or hard 3D.

I fly it pretty hard and I haven't broken one yet! 2100hs, tight mains, 13.5 pitch and some kbdd dampers

Stiffer dampeners are what is needed. Do the heads come with stiffer dampeners?60% of the time, it works every time!

No it doesn't. Although align is supposedly going to release some delrin dampers that they have been testing.

Aren't Delrin dampeners going to cause a lot of vibrations when you do hard turns?Avant RC

Unless they use some sort of orings around those delrin pieces to help dampen the vibrations and still retain extreme rigidity.

Why not just use slightly flexible Delrin pitch links instead of rigid metal pitch links? That would make more sense that making harder dampeners.Avant RC

Compass uses delrin with orings in thier tracx heads. They work ok but kbdd came out with some super stiff dampners that are by far superior.TT X50 Nitro

That wouldn't stop the blade strikes though and the links need to be rigid as they are the only thing keeping the swash in phase.
