This video has been posted before. I'll say it again, too. They are not paid enough for this. If they were working for the company I was working for, they would be told to stop taking breaks and to hurry up. In general I'm afraid of heights, but I have gone up 40 feet on a scissor lift, but you won't catch me climbing a tower to change a light bulb.Man, I miss the eighties.

I agree iROC. No way, no how. Funny thing is, I used to love heights when I was a kid and would jump off just about anything. The older I get, the less I like heights. That was making my stomach flip...what a wussy I've become...

I got sweaty palms watching that video I am ok with being on a roof at 30 feet off the ground because I got something wide to stand on. Looking at that being no larger than 1 foot in diameter at the top and sways like crazy in the 1/4 mile/hr breeze no way in hell would I climb that I remember doing a ropes course for FFA many years back and I didn't do well at allAMA 685330 IRCHA 3966

I've flown many different military and civilian helicopters, airplanes, and gliders over the last 33 years, but I found myself having a full fledged panic attack watching that damn video. I could never do that job, under any circumstances.

you're right. I don't know why, but being in an aircraft, even a small 2 seater, I'm OK with. But THAT???... No way.

WOW

what got me was once you are out of the cage there still was another 50 feet to go, free climbing, NO WAY, take my hat off to those that have cool heads at that height, 30FT is more than enough for me LOL.

I don't even like standing on a ladder to change lights in my shop. The hell with that.

PML i am the same..

i wonder what the max wind strength is they can climb up, I used to know someone who worked on those high tower cranes, he used to say with a breeze the cab when was in it would swing a few feet over in the light wind.
I just thought screw that..

After seeing that video, i will never moan about a poor signal on my mobile phone/TV again

Good ol' saying:
Free climbing is easier and faster, but in case of a slip up, easier and faster sure could be a waste of time...
