So tnis manual kinda sucks but....
This is my first build and a better manual would have been nice, but I am learning a lot by having to figure it out. With some videos I have found.

I have had to flip two servos. And none of the links measurements were right, but that could be due to different servos. It is really a time consuming and enjoyable experience.

Is there anything else I should know. I read the treads but most seem old and mine is a version two. So not sure where mine is different.

What do I need to do now, change something?

Thanks

Unless you have a radio that will mix 140 swash I don't suggest doing that. What I would recommend is that you use 440mm flybar. The one for the Vibe 50 is the correct length. The heli will fly much better. Especially in Forward Flight.Carpe Diem!!!

Also the flybar for the Align 600 will work also. Pay close attention to the pictures in the manual. I found the linkage lengths to be right on. Perhaps its because you are trying to set it up as 140 degree swash instead of 120.Bald Pilots usually wear hats!

Profile says he uses an 8FG. That should do it. My old 9C would mix 140 deg

One thing I am trying to figure out is what to do about the plastic fan moving around und that under the clutch. I would think it would need to be se secure. Got to figure that out. As for the links. I was measuring the links and they did not measure the same. The only link that should be different in 140 is the links going to. Swash. I guess . Here are some pictures.

It night not like it but they are all 90 degrees. Is something wrong that you can see.

Thanks

Here is a link to a Frenzy website. Look under "Set up" "Manuals". I used the JR Vibe 50 manual to help me through the built and radio set up.

Your swash control levers are in the wrong holes
Looked at your pics and the bolts that go through your control levers (two links go to servo, one goes up to swash) are in the rearward hole, there is one further forward about 1/2 inch that is for the 140 degree setup. Then the links going up to the swash won't be so slanted

Just my .02 so far. this heli is a good kit and flys well, you'll be happy with it

Also, did you dial indicate the fan on the motor prior to installing it?
That will make a big difference and the fan is often out quite a bit and really benefits from being dial indicated on the motor shaft

PM back if you are not clear how to do this

I did not dail the fan, but will. I did figure out about the other holes until last week. Thanks for pointing that out. I did not know there were extra links to buy for the 140. I was also missing 3 tail rod guides.

I spoke to Lisa and Greg from Amain Hobbies. They are sending the parts out for me, and did not charge me anything. I will be doing business with them again for sure.

Greg is the Heli guy there. He actually flew for JS. There are a few videos on you tube with him flying. He was a smooth flier. He was extremely helpful.

As for the manual. I did not see that page but I will go look again.

Will let you all know how it goes.

Well got it all together. Just need to add fuel and see how she hovers. Do any of you actually use a pitch gauge. For the alieron and elevator movement ?

One thing that happens a lot is that for some reason when you hit it with the starter the fan moves up into the clutch bell and locks it up tight, then you have to pull the motor out and re tighten the fan to the motor. This may not happen to you but don't be surprised if it does.Bald Pilots usually wear hats!
