I am feeling pretty stupid! I was about to try one of my new CGY750s off the shelf because I could not get any reading on the signal strength and everybody is saying they have 99%. I knew something was working because I got an rpm reading with the engine running... the only thing I had NOT tried was going through the CGY menu with the engine RUNNING...DUumy :Σ I sure wish someone would have told me to check with the engine running. I know that now. thanks guysPeace Out BOBBY D.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but will the new stator gator work without a jumper wire with the cgy750?

Or will I need a jumper?

We love to hear from gasser guys!
Wish there are more of us out there and even at the events... Maybe someday they will have flight lines for gassers and their big air style of flying

I just pulled the white signal wire from the Stator Gator and ran that to it's own plug and plugged it into the sensor input on the CGY750. The original plug with the black and red wire is now plugged into a spare port on my receiver.

I have not had a chance yet to test this ( hopefully this weekend ). But, does anyone see a problem with this setup ? I think it's the same as the picture in the first post, just without the extra jumper cable.

thanks!

u don't have to make a jumper if your reciever is close to the 701. u do need a spare servo plug housing. I pulled the red wire from the sg plug that goes to the gov and pluged the red wire into a spare housing in its appropriate spot and then plugged that into any open channel in my reciever and it works.R I P Roman Jr. Team SRW EFC

sounds like i did the same thing except my ground is going into the receiver, not the 750. The 750 has the sbus going from it to the receiver so hopefully the ground is still ok.

All over the place!

Its all good!
The black ground will work fine plugged into either the 750 or the reciever.
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!
