RealFlight Version 6.00.040
Hi guys,

I downloaded the latest Beta version of RealFlight 6, 6.00.040, where the Synergy E6 and E7 are included. For those that haven't tried them yet, let me inform you these new Synergy models feels extremely realistic. I've just made a couple of quick edits and I'm very happy with them.

Kudos to the RealFlight Team and Matt Botos!

Definitely!

I did try Phoenix 3. It's a great sim, but preferred RealFlight 6 feel. I mention this not to talk bad about the Phoenix; no reason why. Just to let everyone know I did try it for the comparison.

In version .041, they made a small tweak to the gyro feel at ground, and the stiffness of the Synergy's landing skids; now feel much better.

I don't doubt Matt put extra effort in the Synergy models to make them feel that good.

In addition, I've started to buy back old versions of RealFlight sims to have some memories. I just got a copy of G2. Man, it make me feel so happy, to feel again those features I experienced when I first tried helis, and when in my years in the hobby I was flying the best!

Likewise, I've just bought a copy of G3, in which I was a testing pilot for. I can tell you, this copy is great. A bunch of great pilots tested G3. It won't be fair if I don't mention Mr. Pete Niotis (panos). He has been a master. You can find him in the Virtual Flight Instructor menus.

When I was using G2, I met A LOT of pilots throughout the world due to the multiplaying feature (probably many don't know RealFlight simulators were the only ones which offered multiplaying capabilities for years, while the rest don't): China, Australia, Rusia, Italy... very very nice. I also met my Internet best friend, Mr. Will Fannin (whitechocolate). Will was just beginning in the hobby, and I remembered when I taught him the first moves. He was a fast learner. In no time he was flying superb. He has made me feel proud of his accomplishments. We spent endless hours simming together.

Will is A GREAT guy. Wish you the best Will!

That's pretty cool! I never thought about going back and looking for the old software but a buddy of mine is still flying G3 so I get to rock the sticks on his PC every now and then.

Where did you get vs 41 ?
Version .041 is a BETA.

To get it, do the following
  1. Start the RealFlight 6 Launcher
  2. Click Additional Options, then Technical Support
  3. Click Enter Tech Support Code
  4. Enter the following code: B#q93qe255444y (If successful, you will see a message saying "You are now registered to use the Public Beta site until the new version is posted to official download site."
  5. Go back to the main Launcher menu and click Registration/Updates
  6. Make sure that in the bottom left corner it says Temporary Public Beta. If not, try reentering the code
  7. Click Update to Latest Version; alternatively, click Update to Specific Version, choose 6.00.041 from the list, and click OK.

Had already gone through those steps but never saw anything beyond the version .038 which I already had even though I had the Temporary Public Beta message. I have a feeling I may have picked up an old code somehow. Tried it again using the code in your insructions and it worked just fine. Thanks for the help.
