zenoah engine trouble please help
I have a zenoah g260puh unmodified and it will not start I have good spark and airflow I also am getting fuel into the cylinder, compression seems to be good it just wont pop.

The only problem I can find at the moment is a crack in the muffler, im just not sure if this can keep it from starting, needing help from someone who has more expierence with 2-strokes than myself.

Any information will be helpful and appriceated
2-stroke is no joke.

Well you have ALL three necessary condition's, Spark / Fuel / & Compression

In stead of spinning off in a lot of directions, if you are new to Gasser's maybe some thing very basic and self confidence may have you a bit cautious.

The only a few thing's I can think of:

Examine your carb - butter fly opening " AT IDLE" - Position on the radio -- Check and Double check for SAFETY " it's position and make sure it is 1/16" to no more than 3/32" open from the throat of the carb.

On initial start they like it WET ! Gently - Pull it thru a few time's with the choke on till you fill the cylinder & jug get free. Smell mean's nothing

If it's Champion PLug - Remove IT and toss it out in the Drive !

Replace with a NGK

Is it possible you overheated it and damaged the motor?
Remove the cracked muffler and look at the piston exhaust side.

That is THE #1 cause for motors not starting.

if so possibley the flywheel key could have sheered and your timeing could be off far enough to not start.

I think that might be true; assuming it is getting fuel.
I tried all kinds of fuel, oil, plugs, filters, tubes, etc before finding out my cylinder was scored.

First thing I would do s pull the carb check the gaskets. Disassemble the carb check all those gaskets and diaphragm while in there look at the screen make sure if free of crap. Replace anything that doesn't look right.
