How strong is the diablo's main gear?
I'm just wondering what kind of power you put in the Diablo?

If you keep them lubed as you should for all electrics.

Over 10,000 watts strong.

Remember they are helical gears and well sized to be not just a 3D rocket but a camera workhorse.

BTW, IT is spelled Diabolo, like the bullet or the toy.

For the record runs last year it took over 10K 6-7 seconds at the time during the 3 passes, then Penger hit the battery cut off on the 4th.
The sound during the runs was more like a flat out NASCAR V8 than a heli.

I was there.
