yge..heat sink
made this sweet sink at work today...help keep the yge 120 cool in this florida heat...i removed the shrink wrap from top of each fett..put thrmal compound mixed with epoxy.....stuck that baby on.....my buddy did the same. sunday...drop temp from 130..down to 90...coool

Just a side note
That looks great! We had a recent incident at our field with a YGE mounted utilizing the bolt holes. The board cracked at the bolts.

did the same thing with my YGE 60 on my Protos 500. the stock YGE ran hot now with the mod ALL IS GOOD!!!

yes an old cpu heat sink. i use a cut off wheel (dermal)!! i got a little sloppy with it but you can't see it under the frame? works great!!! YGE should have this from the start????

Just curious. I got a brand new YGE 90HV last fall and it had a heat sink factory attached. I noticed today on the website that some have heat sinks and some do not. Is it that the HV escs come with one? Is the addition of a factory heat sink something new?
