Mr. HillBilly,

Part of my post flight routine is to clean and lubicate. I cleaned and re-lubricated the main shaft and tail shaft after Sunday's flight. Right now, from the tail control rod to the tail pitch slider, it smooth as can be. I believe my problems is between the servo to the gyro.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Ted

Eppler,

I am sorry, I seem to have hijacked your post. I hope you were able to get your questions answered.

With what I have going on, it would be best to start my own post.

It’s all good I really did not have a question was just sharing what happened at the field. If people are already responding to tis thread to help you no sense in starting over. That is why I changed the title.

Ted,

Have you ever had your tail gum up and bind your tail servo? I ended up burning out a servo yeasterday because of this. Didn't loose the heli but it was close. I am still in search of the best lubricant for the tail slider?

Thanks,
Bob

I had a tail slider freeze up at a funfly last year so ever since then I put oil on every time I go out.

I have been using Tri-Flow on my stuff.
