Does anyone know FOR SURE what FBL system Nick was using on the Thunder Tiger during the filming of the video?

He mentioned just about every electrical component except FBL system, could it be the TT GT5, or the infamous VBar?

That was filmed on a milatary base. TOP SECRET STUFF!
That does not count, Fusion powered helis, such as that "insane heli" is not allowed, seeing how the public may be blown away by it enormous Terminator power cell technology. That heli is 15 years in to the future. We wont need that seeing how we will all have flying cars by then.

Great flying. Love the 360 tick tocks in your face.

Very impressive setup. I'm sure I'll be able to fly like that when I get a set of those blades. lol.

Nick
could make flying a rock look good.

I don`t think even him flying raptors is going to increase sales, they`re still overpriced.

Ace was caught sleeping with Align came to town and will never catch up again.

Judging by the flight characteristics of the TT G4, I would say it has a VBar on it, or BeastX. I do not believe Nick would use a BeastX so VBar Pro.

The Raptor G4 was exibiting both robotic handling and collective boost/pitch pump, neither of which TT GT5 FBL or CGY 750 can exibit.
In additon he flies for Futaba, he would have mentioned that he was using a 750, but he only mentioned all the other electronics.

Guys,

I have my tin hat ready for this one!!

First Nick is an amazing pilot, I saw his N5 video once and it was brilliant.

But, why do we as a hobby feel it is ok for anybody including the top pilots, to fly a heli that is clearly under enormous amounts of stress, this close to either themselves or others.

A knife edge circle or hurricane at 100mph 6 feet off the ground, is an amazing piece of skill and bravery - but why does it have to be so close to the pilot and spectators.

I once saw a SmackTalk video, where the guest pilot thought it funny everytime one of his mates jumped out of the way because his heli was so close.

I applaud anybody who can fly their heli with this level of skill, and until something goes wrong, or someone tries to copy their hero without the same talent - I will be labelled an idiot and a kill joy.

Please, please don't let my fears ever come true.

I love this sport and all those people in it, don't want to lose anyone.

David
