The third key factor you failed to mention is proper instruction from a qualified instructor.
Have all of the top pilots have been taught what they do by a 'qualified instructor'? What makes a 'qualified instructor' anyways a license or something? I see the top pilots making up new stuff all the time, not being taught and repeating from others. All the guys have their own 'style' to everything that they themselves have come up with. Am I just missing the boat or has it become common knowledge that unless you are taught by a 'pro' then you can't become a 'pro' or become a high level rc heli pilot
I wish I was as good as you.
I read my post over and over again and didn't see anywhere in which I wrote that I was personally above you or anyone else...

I edited my post, that is not what I meant at all.
I wish I was as good as you. I need help when learning something.
I can not read it, or watch a video. I need someone saying a key word that puts it all together for me. I was not slow and methodical, I crashed and fixed, crashed and fixed, repeat, repeat.
i pushed hard, now i am calming down.
I meant no disrespect in that coment, I am just jealous that some things come easier to others than they do to me.

As far as top pilots, when you have guys in your presence to teach you their trade, you are darn right I am going to listen.

D Help me out on this-
Could you list the poliots accomplishments. I know they compete and win around the world, but I do not follow that closely to make up their resume.

If what you have works for you, do it what ever it may be.
I have no intention of competing with these guys, but just to have the opportunity to learn a signature move from the person that developed the move, That I would call a opportunity.

It's a blast
Just make sure you have a good pair of helis, a fast charger, lots of fuel or batteries. They will be on top of you, "Are you ready to go?"
They really wanted to make sure you got your money's worth, flight after flight. Be ready to auto from anywhere. About 50% of my flights for 2 days were autos, as Nick and Bobby and I had so much fun we kept running out of gas, oh well? Have some spares and a tight heli. Make sure boom support ends are rock solid and gyro mounting tape is not cheezy or shake n back worn out. Fly , fuel, get in line fly again. Don't be messing around building or bull****ting, these guys love to fly and want to pass it on to you. Best money you will spend, and you will learn so much. Be humble and if you skipped some basics, go back and get it down quick with these guys. Get past the star struck, they are fun guys to fly, talk, learn from and hang with.
You will be on a HELI HIGH all the way to IRCHA JAMBOREE. Spoil yourself.

Still have slots open!!!!!!!!!!
There are still a few slots left!

The biggest benefit to this type of training is the opportunity to learn from guys that has proven themselves to be top notch pilots and good people. When you get a chance to ask questions directly to people who are more than qualified to answer them and to ask them in person, in a relaxed environment the learning curve goes through the roof.

I have stated before that many top pilots have benefited from this type of experience and without mentioning names I can say that two of the instructors have attended this type of training class.

Feel free to contact me for more info,

Big D.

I'm surprised we still have some spots left.
We did this two years ago, we have Matt Botos and Nick Maxwell, the spots sold very fast.
Also you are 100% right about advancing your skills 2 years in 2 days.

Man that's cool. If this was within a reasonable drive to Marlyand, I would be in for sure. Like SmackTalk in person. This is invaluable.
