Bottom line (yet?)?
So does anyone who has used these begin to have a feeling that they work or don't?

Every one focusing on mounting only mufflers in their testing?

Raja commented on some looseness after flights. I saw a YouTube vid that showed some loosening on their product for almost all their example applications. Is a bit of loosening just the way the things work?

Saw the post about TSK using these as motor mounts. They must have been ahead of the rest.

Field report
Did the stop the leak on the Hatori, Nope, they did not.
Worked for a while and then sprung a leak.

As quoted:

There is a little looseness when checked with an allen driver, but at least I have to say the bolts don't come all the way out and make the muffler rattle on the motor.

Maybe its due to the gasket compressing between the inner plate and cylinder. Don't know. Not going to futs with it now as this week I'll be sparking my Spectra and will redo the seal on the new motor and see how that setup holds up.

I used them when I installed my Century Slimline torpedo on the new TRM VX260 RS that I put in yesterday. I only have about 40 minutes of low RPM breakin time on it so far, but they are still tight. Will keep you posted!doug

why Not Stainless ?
That's a Good Question... and is why I asked which ones were being used and tested.
I ordered the steel with the unti-rust coating. I see afew of you who have been trying them out have reported a slight loosened feeling after a few flights. I know you do need to torque them to +30% of what the manual calls out for. This things do need to be torque down with a torque wrench, just can't guess how tight .

I'll have them tomorrow so ill report my findings after the weekend if weather permits.

Another hours no stop flying with the Spectra today.

The Nordlocks are still holding on the inner muffler joint of the Hatori.

No sign of any leaks at all after coming in from the field

This is prepared metal to metal with no gasket - the high temp gasket is only used on the outer join.

I have now got leaking fuel from the carb side now so I may as well get some to use there as well
