› Need help what cause my Kontronik Heli Jive death?

Guy I need help to solve problem with my Kontronik Heli Jive 120. This Heli Jive I just perchased alittle over 7 months direct from Kontronik at German, and this is a Limit Edition was sent back for an update software to work with V-bar GOV. After I got it back I set it to a mode 8 and with a auto bail-out. After setup the heli was flying fine for couple flight on the fourth flight plug back my ESC to power nothing happened, I tried anything but still no power then I decided to sent back to Kontronik for service. What they told me is the ESC cannot be fix because something wrong inside, something that they cant look up, the only way I can it back I have to get a new one due to no warranty and it cost me $750 before discount( they gave me 50% discount) . I agree to pay without question, I got it back last week. I did setup this ESC like what I did before, the heli was fly fine for only one flight the second flight happened the same thing. Anybody know why this ESC have no power after couple flight? and why kontronik have no warranty on this ESC? I know if I send it back for service they will charge me to get a new one again.

What? You paid them for a new one without questioning why they didn't honor the warranty? Maybe there is something really wrong with your setup and that's why they didn't replace it under the warranty?

In any case, you should ask them to clarify what was wrong with the ESC, especially that you have a second one that stopped working.

Please query this with kontronik and send them a copy of your postings here, this is absolutely unacceptable and I'm convinced the heli community will support you in this matter, yes if you are responsible by reversing polarity they can reason you are responsible but from your description I think it should be a warrantee issue!
I have bought more than 15 jives do far and if this is the way they treat their warrantee I won't support them anymore, let's hear the facts and what they have to say

Wow, I am just amazed how they informed you that your ESC was not covered by warranty without giving you any explanation whatsoever and how you sent them 578.93 Euro without a question asked.

Did you fill out the repair card (which details all of the equipment you were using at the time of the incident) and include it in the package with the ESC when you sent it in for service?

It's important that your writing is clear so that Kontronik can read it easily.

That is very unusual for Kontronik.

I know if your set-up is wrong and damage is caused by the user...warranty is void.

Incredible, it seems to be regular practice lately at Kontronik to not honor warranty, but rather offer dealer prices to customers who sent in a Heli Jive for service. The problem is that the users are not necessarily always the cause for the failures and something strange is going on with some of the Heli Jives.

Tommy, I would really contact Kontronik and ask them for clarifications. Them asking you for money without telling you why the warranty was void is NOT OK. Gosh, 578.93 Euro for a replacement and it might have not been your fault at all!

I already sent my ESC back 10 days ago to Kontronic but havent heard anything from them yet. If anything came up I will let you guy know, To my inderstanding Kontronic will Offers for exchange again which will cost me couple hundred $ . I dont think they service for free.
