Very simple to do.Plugged mine into channel AUX2 (or you can use GEAR but I use that for GYRO) used the switch on front right side of the radio for on and off now make sure the ATV for that is 100% to 100% one I think is a plus direction and one is a minus (less than zero) direction. Make sure that you have full throw on the throttle and ATV or end points for throttle at 100% to 100% also and throttle is full open at full stick.
Now power on heli and have the throttle trim all the way down and same with throttle. Push the GOV little black button till the light I think starts flashing. Move throttle to top and wait for light which I think goes out momentarily then comes on green solid light I think then go lower throttle and it's calibrated now.
Put throttle trim back to where needed to idle.
Go into the radio and change the AUX2 end point down from 100% to like 75-80% to start and that is what adjusts the headspeed.
If the switch direction for on and off is not the way you like it on AUX2 then do a servo reverse on that channel. How you can tell direction for on and off is one way the light on the GOV is on green and the other way it's red, red is turned off GOV not active. You may have to set that direction in the ATV of AUX2 to ZERO in the radio to get the red off light when you flip the switch in that direction you'll know when you try it. I'm just doing this off the top of my head.
You will need to advance throttle up past 1/4 stick for the light to come on and you can do this on the bench without the motor running just so you know.
