I was just asking myself this question, they are way cheaper than the LHS batteries and other online brands as well, so I was wondering if any folks here had a good/bad experience with them ??

Turnigy's are better than the Zippy's and the Nano Tech's seem to be hit and miss.

Try the Turnigy's, you will not be disappointed! In the unlikely event you get a bad one (check them before putting your own connectors on) just make sure you input the barcode number on the HK website to validate the warranty, fill in the returns form and send it back, they will send you out a new one.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Ive had good luck with the Turnigy 6s 2650's however the 6s 2200's seem to puff up on me. Allways balance charged and allways disgarged at 3.7v when stored.

None of my Turnigy lasted more than 100 cycles, but for 65.00$ it was worth the cost. I'm now trying out the Gen Ace from Hobby Partz (therefore American made), about the same price (if you include transportation from Hobby King to here). To date they only have around 40 cycles on them but they are still going strong.

I've also used the Blue Lipos but they don't seem to hold up quite as well as the others that I've tried.

Yeah 100 cycles is about what I get from Turnigys. The more expensive Lipos you get more cycles but if you crash, that gets cut into half or less. Turnigys are really good compared in cost to performance compared to low end brands like Blue, Sky, Gens and other cheap Chinese packs. Turnigy warranty sucks big time. The only problem is you gamble sometimes when you buy Turnigy packs.

I have all kind of lipo from 2s to 6s 5000mah, almost 15 packs, Zippy and Turnigy, the 6s 5000mah Zippy is the best for me, Turnigys 6s 5000 were very bad, 2 from 4 packs got puffed. might be the bad setup for stcok motor and ESC for my T-rex600 esp

Cheers

Gens Ace does not have higher than 30C in 6S. Their Gens Ace 6S 30c's are like Hobby Kings 40-45c packs. I tried the 5k packs from Gens Ace. They are working on 60C's at the moment though.

I'm running the 30c 5000mah 6s Gens Ace packs side by side with some 45c\65c packs and they are equal. I would say a true rating.

bmapope..

You only notice the "higher" C ratings when you fly smaller birds (i.e. smaller packs).. When you go up to the 600-800 birds, you dont need high C ratings... I have noticed this to be true..

My 250/400 bird sees significant differences with higher C packs than my 600/700 birds.. I dont notice dramatic differences in C ratings the bigger the bird is... Just interesting discovery..

Just my .02 cents.
