I just tested a Futaba HD connector AND Deans small connector:

AND a Futaba HD switch for resistance at 4 Amps.

1) Futaba HD connector 3 milliohms per pin pair
2) Deans small 1 milliohm per pin pair
3) Futaba HD switch 1.5 milliohms per redundant pair - tested in both directions.

So the tiny Deans 2 or 3 pin connectors are a big step up and good enough for any Heli RX application. The Deans 4 pin small connectors with two pins per wire are good enough for any 40% plane.

So the Futaba HD switch is pretty damn good.

EDIT: According to my AWG wire chart, small Deans are zero insertion loss in AWG 21 wire. The 4 pin using two pins per wire are zero insertion loss in AWG 18 wire.
