i'm getting different +/- max collective values in my setup.

zero degrees is dead on (blade tips touching at midstick). but, i'm getting 14.5° at the top and -12.6° at the bottom.

traditionally (on FB helis), i've been able to adjust down the servo to swash links. but, when i re-zero midstick it just puts me back in the same spot. I don't recall having this issue on any of my other vbar helis, so i'm not sure what to adjust.

begs the question are the values supposed to be symmetrical on the logo? or am i doing something wrong?

if it ain't broke, break it.

Setup as per manual 100% on vbar tx calibration. Then after setup collective travel just tweak end point to match throw. It's only a small amount in this instance. Mine was about 1 degree difference.

I had to do the same thing with my JR NEX E8. I was getting something like +17 and -15... I adjusted both endpoints in the transmitter after tweaking the vbar to 80 (says to be between 80-110 in vbar settings before adjusting endpoints in TX) on the adjustments to somewhere like 90,85 endpoints to get -13,0 +13

I always just adjust it using the end point for the pith channel, however, I messed around with it on one heli and found that raising or lowering the swash at 0 pitch using the links could make it even out.

Eury: that's what i tried first. I adjusted all the way to 2 full turns (testing at 1/2 turn intervals); but every time i re-centered the swash to 0° it put me back at the same +14/-12. so, i backed them back out to where they were originally.

as for adjusting endpoints, do i need to adjust all 3 servo ATVs or just the PIT channel?

and, doing this...doesn't this blow the TX calibration out of whack? I've always been super critical of getting the subtrim adjusted to exactly zero; and 100 on the endpoints of the calibration bars.

MAJ mentions "per the manual"...I have no such manual instructions *shrug* the manual that came with my vbar is more of a marketing/sales sheet rather than instructions.

if it ain't broke, break it.

Just adjust the pitch channel, or leave it where it is and adjust that side of your pitch curve. Either works, I just do the pitch channel. When he says per the manual, he's probably referring to the online manual or the guidance provided in the Vbar software. Both places tell you to just adjust the end point.
