I would like to try using a Hyperion LiFePo 2s 2100mah pack as RX battery for my Trex 600E Pro. I will be running them direct, no switch, 6.6V unregulated. Servos are all Align (DS610/650)with the 3GX controller.

Can anyone share their experiences here? Very much appreciated and thanks in advance!

Exactly how I have my 600e PRO set up except I am using a Vbar.
Works great and simplified wiring.

I made a "y" harness for dual "JR" plugs connecting to the receiver.

Thanks, great idea on the dual output! I'm still trying to workout the 3gx to my liking, though i can see i'll be switching to beastx soon.

So far had about 4 flights with the LiFePo pack on 1 charge. I was thinking of going the Cc BEC pro route since i have one lying around but after seeing some of the horror posts on that regulator i think i'll stick with the LiFePo

I plan to use a 1800 LIFE pack directly into the 7200BX on my 600EFL. I used one on my 600LE Nitro and it worked great.

Everything I have read says the Align 610/650 servos can handle 6.6 volts.

I will be using the battery main power lead split into 2 servos leads like the previous user did.

We have been using the LiFe packs with excellent results.
The 2300 will safely give you 4 flights.
We use a heavy duty switch to control power.
