Regretfully their are idiots on both sides.

June 2, 2011

HELENA, Mont. — A former organizer for the Ku Klux Klan says he is running as a Republican for Montana’s representative in the U.S. House.

John Abarr says he believes he will fare better than people might expect because of a backlash against President Barack Obama.

The 42-year-old tried to run for the state Legislature in 2002 but lost in a GOP primary after Republicans actively worked against his candidacy.

Abarr works nights as an auditor a Great Falls motel. He says he no longer organizes for the KKK but is still on its mailing list.

Leading state Republicans are backing Bozeman businessman Steve Daines in 2012. Party leaders believe he’ll be able to win the House seat being vacated by Republican U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg, who is running for U.S. Senate.

--------------------------------------------------

The KKK often has rally's to drum up support for the Republican party. David Duke, KKK Grand Wizard, held office as a Republican as recently 1992 and was in contention for the Republican Presidential nomination.

--------------------------------------------------

Both sides have been in the KKK, if you really believe that no republicans are associated with the KKK and it is only the democrats, then you are blind and refuse to accept the facts.

Maybe so.

But, the left has no doubt been the father of the KKK since its inception in the south many, many years ago back in 1868 shortly after the south surrendered. The left carried the KKK through its formative years to its most violent ways in more modern history:

There are many, many more links out there explaining the history of the left as it associates with the KKK.

This I understand and believe. I am just tired of everything being blamed on just one side. People are taught to believe it is only the right that are for guns. They are taught that the KKK was only people on the left. Heck people were taught to believe that Lincoln wasn't a racist, even though when he freed the slaves he still had some of his own. I am just tired of people constantly saying it is either this side or that side when it is and always has been on both sides.

I am trying my best to be as perfect as you are. One can aspire you know.

KKK
Anyone can run for any party they want. The real story is that he lost previously after Republicans worked against him and now "leading state Republicans" are backing someone else. One lone nut who claims to be Republican when the rest of the party opposes him hardly indicates that the party is somehow affiliated with the KKK. Steve.
