I've been trying to sell my 90N airframe but no luck. Maybe I'll keep it if there is a way to convert to electric. any suggestions?

this would be a swell idea,I also have been contemplating the same thing for my srimok 90n to a 90E.the motor I would not think it to be much of a problem to locate,but to locate 2 6s somewhere on the frame I'm not sure of.
but it should be doable.

We converted a 90N kit to 90E spec and it was very expensive. There are a surprising number of parts needed. IMO you would be better off selling the 90N for what you could get for it and buying a new Srimok 90E kit.

yea! Dave takeing a second look it can be done but dangit! lot's of crazy parts needed to convert it to electric.

I did not build the machine. It was done by one of our pilots, Rob McQuillen. It is now a full spec Srimok 90E so if you have seen one ours looks pretty much the same. Rob did make a few custom parts for it to allow the installation of the nitro style landing gear and a Scorpion 4525-520 Ultimate. I'll see if I can get him to take some pics.

great! some pics would be nice,I would be all for the E conversion but to many parts involved mabe latter in the future.

Hey guys,

The parts involved was crazy, you would probably end up ahead even without selling the Nitro

It was a very fun experience, but I would not even want to start to count the hours I have into it

Some of the changes to the standard build:

- Low Rider Head Conversion
- Competition Grip Arms
- +3mm Elevator Servo Mounts for clearance for the Scorpion 4525-520LE Ultimate
- Nitro style landing gear

... Otherwise it looks like any other Kasama Faifa, the maiden flight should be very rewarding to the say the least
