Too bad, no mention of DSMX support. I was hoping that would be in this one. My 600EFL flies so good now, I won't update until they get DSMX support.

I don't mind using a rx for dsmx, I wish they had Bluetooth out and an app so I can use my phone at the field... By the time that comes out my Heli won't need changes lol

Ok so here are the new screens they gave us compared to vBar 5.2 Xpress, we all know what the old screens look like;






I think that the new 5.2 Vbar software is way better to work with. Some may get excited about the new parameters to get lost with, but it seems like something a pro tweak-er would like to mess with. I would rather be flying learning new 3D moves. Not messing with minor settings until my eyes go red and sun goes down. Microbeast gave Align the cheat sheet, lol, use it Align.

From what I hear they just up graded to the copterX firmware and created there own interface software
Why the picture of the G-T5 with it's touch pad and excellent display and yet no reference text?

Well has anyone flown it yet?!?! Someone flyit and post tips and setup stuff anything we might need instruction seem kinda hard on the last section how do you goto the next steps or skip steps?

I wrote about it on another thread, this what noticeced;
Be very specific when setting up the new firmware. I followed the instructions the first time and had zero problems. Please let the 3GX know where 8 degrees is in DIR mode. In addition show v2.0 where your endpoints are on fore and aft ele and only right in ail. I did thorough testing on one midsize bird with same blades and electronics. Definatley better in terms of flight performance, but u still have fiddle with some new combined settings to get it there. Took 3 flights to get it dialed in, fast ail n ele tic tocs were great, ff flight was good, tail was great after turning lock gain about 20-25 clicks obove normal. Pyro rates on swash was n tail was def. smoother. The one thing that does not work is collective pitch acceleration, made no difference at full min. or max. Tested it in winda amd calm weather, hovering seems to be the same although I spent more time flogging it than hoveering, but u can settle it if you want, not quite VBar hov stability but decent. Flight performance was improved overall though. Do not forget to read the instructions on setup it is important, I read somewhere someone crashed cuz of improper set up, cheers!

So when your setting up 8 degrees do you have to hold the stick or is it like beastx where you push the stick let go and it stays? Also do you just leaved your ele/ail AFR's at default?

I think he is talking about for ELE and AIL set up process. You have to set to 8 degrees.
