I have a question regarding the above mentioned batteries. Neither the markings on the battery and the website state how high you can safely charge these batteries. I would love to charge at more than 1C but not sure if it is safe. One day I may have to switch to Hyperions because people say they can safely be charged at 5C and higher...Thanks for any help

All of the current Eflite batteries are only rated for 1c charge rate.

Im sure you would be fine charging it at 2-3C if you have a decent charger. I have recently charged a 3C MAX 1C recommended li-po at 4.5C with no issues.

Charging li-po's at 1C is old school from when chargers and Li-po chemistry wasn't as good as it is today. As a general rule you can charge at 1C charge per 10C continuous discharge, so a 20C pack is ok at 2C charge, a 30C pack is ok at 3C etc.

I have got a Hitec X4 multicharger. It seems like a decent charger. It is only 50w per channel though. 2C on my 2200mah 3S batteries is obviously 4.4A. So at 4.4A X 11.1V=50.16watts. So with the current charger that I have the most I could charge is just under 2C. I am thinking I need to be in the market for a new charger but not sure which one to go with

Depends how much you have to spend and weather you will be charging larger packs in the future?

Hyperion 1420i or 0730i are good choices as is the CellPro PowerLab 6 and icharger 306.

I will probably be getting bigger batteries in the future. I have a Blade 450 now, and a Raptor 50 Nitro. I am throwing around the idea of getting a bigger electric heli in the future, and anything higer than the 450 for either Blade or Align is going to require a 6S battery.

Kind of amazing now that I research it that Hyperion packs are more expensive than Eflite, but are reported to be far superior to Eflite. Funny how that works....

I have a chunk of change to spend at the moment. Uncle Sam was good to me this year

Yes Eflight 3s 2200 30C packs are still expensive! They used to be £48.99 (75-80 USD) in the UK only about a year ago!
