Too bad it took a break down for you to finally get one. Things to consider-

The tail gear pin (the one in the tail case) can slip out. A piece of heat shrink over it will prevent this.

Some have had problems with the tail control rod breaking in flight. There are several mods out there to prevent this.

Use the tail rod from the Titan SE or from the older Raptors, the rod with the X50 is very brittle and made harder, the Dampers are very hard so a higher head speed is needed to smooth things out,if you are concerned about the expensive frame, use Nylon screws and nuts to attach the skids to the frame including Boom suppports, they happen to snap on impact saving your frame and wallet

So its bad rods and not vibrations? Why can't they make them right? Are the titan rods an exact match? length and the bend? Is there an easy way to check if a rod is one of the bad ones, Other than waiting for it to fail in flight?

The X50 rod is much harder and brittle thats why some guys have had the problem,it is most probably caused by vibration, all you have to do is get the straight rod a spare if you have from a Raptor v2 or Titan etc, match it up to the bent front rod from the X50,i did mine perfectly with pliers and a vise grip,i think there will always be that buzzing on the rod especially during idle, hope this helps

Well, if it doesnt effect the balance too bad, Ill probably try to put a rear mounted tail servo on the boom. I've always used those anyway, and it makes for a perfect line for a CF rod to the tail. Ill def use the nylon screws for the landing gear, would rather break those then break a frame.

Your Rudder servo is far more safer upfront, also the amount fuel that gets on the servo if mounted from the back,it will cost you more if she goes in,i found mine to be tail heavy,i had to add a little more weight to the front, have fun
