I'm not sure I want to know what you were searching for when you came across that one.

The last one is a little extreme but i feel his pain. I had a mountaineer for sale, way below blue book. I got nothing but idiot calls and text, asking if i would take $500 less than asking without even coming out and looking at or driving the truck.

I got fed up and basically posted if you are not interested in my truck for my asking price, please do not wast my or your time.

I sold the truck that day, for full asking price.

I use CL a lot. You get used to the bs. You can tell scammers by the first or second email. They usually use the term "your item" in their response. They are getting a little better now. The first email is nice and normal then once you respond, they have your email.. not that they do much with it. Maybe they collect and sell them. The next email is the long schpeel about sending and agent blah blah..

I won't give any personal info until I have found out the person is local by emailing back and forth. I never put a phone number or address online or give an address on emails. I end up asking for their phone number and I call them. If they name a local area and give you their phone number, that's about as close to legit as you can get.

I have a 2nd email with Hotmail that I use for baiting scammers. If If I ever use CL that would be the email adx I would use until I was sure it wasn't a scam or phishing.

I wonder how many of these that are listed with no description and priced wrong are stolen. No description because they are stolen and don't know anything about them.

from a friend of mine

someone said at 25 dollars a hr a build would cost them 375 dollars by dealing with me ? how many hrs does it take to build a 450 good lord only takes me about 3 hrs to be honest and you cant charge 400 dollars to fix a 100 dollar clone.

people appreciate my help and advice rather then be robbed
25 bucks aint bad.
On Saturday – I stopped at Robs Hobbies located in Huntington Beach………….

I asked the guy that post his service on craiglist-of heli repair and custom builds(he is a joke….that’s right )

$175 to build a heli + the electronics + the service and if you want a fuselage a total of $750 dollars-chittttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what I learn from you is good enough-

Hobby shops will take your eyes out and empty your pockets.

Insha Allah made in america

People always want something for nothing. $25/hr may be a bit high for just building a heli, I would do it cheaper because I enjoy doing it and it gives me a few bucks to buy fuel and whatever else..... Personally, I think, if you cant build the heli, you shouldnt be flying it. This hobby needs an enima.

It's not a matter of paying someone $25/hr to work on a heli, or $50/hr to work on a nitro heli. If the person charging actually knew what they're doing, terrific. If they can find suckers with more money than brains who will pay someone else to wrench on a helicopter, then more power to 'em.

The issue I have with that idiot in Long Beach, CA is that he is just a beginner himself who doesn't have the slightest clue what he's doing. He doesn't even own the tools for the job.
