Yes
I installed the 600DFC head on my 550E and works super. The main shaft will work on the 550E

I asume you needed to turn your three linkages from servo to swash in for about six whole turns to get 0 pitch, right?

It is the same main shaft of the 600E Pro, it is not the same of the 600E. The regular (early) 600E, use a longer main shaft to fit into the 3rd bearing.

On my 550E I have more than 75 sport flights on it and no issues.

my DFC main shaft is def. shorter than the 600efl/550 shaft.

The FBL-EFL and the 550 are the same though.

Yes, the main shaft on the DFC upgraded heads are shorter than the regular FBL Heads.

@LECz3 - thx for the info.

Does anyone know if Align came out with updated version like the one for the 700?

I'm ready to buy them for my 500 & 550 but want to make sure I get the latest versions.

Thx

The updated version was only for the 700. The other DFC upgrades were fixed prior to launch.

600DFC head I can't get the pitch lower than +3 degrees at mid stick
Hi,
I set my pitch curve to be level 50% from point 2 to 4 and moved the stick to mid. I am using the 3 servo / swash links from my 500 set to 50.3mm as per manual - this head apparently is for the 550E V2 so it says on the box, slightly different lengths to the V1.

I can only get +3 degrees at mid stick, even though the 2 links are fully screwed in.

Any ideas please?

You are Correct; Yes, I turned the 3 swash linkage rods to get 0 degrees on middle stick.
On my 550E I turned in the links to approximately 49mm and used the same 550E (V1) swash links of the original FBL head.

49mm hits the spot
Thanks Guys - 49mm hits the spot for me - gives a little negative to allow for spot on zero. Used original 550 rods - very tight so be careful you don't break them when tightening
