I have a JR X-388S, That I'll be using for my Concept 60. My question is that for the Gyro sensitivity. Should I connect it to aux 2 or 3 on the RX so I can adjust with the aux pot on the TX (instead of the gear channel which is for HH or rate mode), as you can't adjust the Gyro sensitivity in the tx programing (It's not there), or is there another way with this Transmitter..

Oh the TX is 2.4 Ghz now and a lipo fitted too, so it might be a bit more modern now..

Any help using a gy401 gyro with this old relic from the past (Like me) will be greatly appercatied...

Mike..

Gyro gain is controlled by the Gear channel's ATV value, positive should be AVCS mode and negative should be rate. I flew a JR X-388S and a GY-401 for years back when I started, but for all intents and purposes, the GY-401 works like this for ANY transmitter(regardless if it has gyro specific programming or not).

As I recall, 0% ATV equates to 0% gyro gain, and 90% ATV equates to 100% gyro gain(so 54% ATV=60% gain).

Here is a link to the manual for your transmitter. It should help...
