Got it fromClub heli.com http://www.clubheli.com/Xtreme-Carb...CPX_p_3772.html
It should be here this week.
Its only 29 bucks and I heard you can get it from china for 20 + shipping. Anyone here using one yet?
Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

Sorry I have no idea what that is ,,,

From what I have seen of the spindle with that TINY bolt holding everything together that barely holds the head together at stock headspeeds ,,I cant imagine the force of a headspeed of 5 or 6 thousand rpms and it let go. I had a POS Walkera let go and I was very lucky.
Those bearings in the blade grips are not thrust bearings and the bolt retaining them are at best just adequate for stock head speeds.

I tie my grips together with fishing string and only fly my stocker in the house. Never had one come apart but i check all screws regularly and use loctite. I plan on getting a frame from them after i finf out how the weak looking tail mount holds up.

TA915 is the meanest 1s motor that will fit mcpx

Well then you also find the spindle barely adequate at best . If a blade went off at even stock speed at the right Angle it could be devastating ,,it is only a matter of time,,,,

Yes its true. Only a matter of time. I hope I am as lucky as i usually am when I am pushing things. Every once in a while it don't work out so good but i figure its worth it for all the fun I have in between. I'm not suggesting that just anyone go out and do as I have but I could take a blade flying off and hitting me and be doing the same thing as soon as I was able. I don't see that happening but I know there is a chance. I watched my brothers solo pro go bonkers in his room and self destruct. He hit throttle hold and all but the board just become possessed. I had to chase it down and pull the battery. Then he was mad at me for laughing. Id hate to see that in a big heli. Of course id hate to be struck by lightning or have a heart attack also but you just never no. I wont live any different than i have if either of the above happens. Just have fun and love every minute. Id say that my mcpx mods are one of the least dangerous things I've done. My wife would probably shoot me if she saw me 5 years ago jumping triples on a dirt bike. Then i would be dead, but not from the jump. From the wrath of the ol lady. Now that is scary. loltopcopter productions

i find that most of the BL motors are too much for me to handle. i got so used to flying the heli on the stock motor, with so much head speed i have that thing going everywhere. i guess my goal is not to bolt in the biggest motor, im more of a middle of the road flyer. i like the helimax 10k.big ben - e550 fbl - DX6

Me to... I have had co5 helimax hpo5 spin 16300 ta915. Building another 915 and hp05. I like to mod probably more than fly. and i wonder why i crash so much. crashbangboom

Proper setup in your transmitter is key to any setup. I can tame down anyone of mine to where i could fly around the basement.
