HV set ups on the N5c
For those running HV set ups on the N5c what servo are you using for throttle?

Thanks,
John

I am going to use a JR DS3717HV servo. Found it new on Ebay for $50 bucks shipped.

I am not running HV but the set ups I have seen many people simply just use a step down for the throttle servo and use a Futaba 9650.

I have run 9650, 520 and 9257 without step down off Life packs. No load on the servo to speak of so little to no heat build up. No issues at all.

I run a 7100R with a LiFe pack (since my cyclics are not high volts) but this would work with a 2s lipo also. I use an Align 520 servo for throttle and run it out of the 5.2 side of the RX.Fly it like you stole it!

I am running HIV servos all around. Most people are even using HV tail servos. If you don't own a throttle servo yet I would get a HV throttle servo and not bother with a step down or a regulator.

I run the Perfect Regulators Safe switch DUO pro on my nitros. You can run the tail and throttle HV or step one or both down to 5.3v.

Work great and has a built in glow ignitor. If you use something else for a glow ignitor they have the Safe switch DUO.
I don't crash... I land with style
