Back to the heli
I have been out of the hobby for awhile. Got really into 1/4 scale rc tunnel boats. Bumped into a friend who is still really into the hobby. Sparked up my interest again. So I pulled out my rex SE, dx7, lipos, and charger. Decided to pick up where I left off. Just hovering. I still can do it but Its time to progress. I'm not totally green, but still really wet behind the ears. Anyway I also pulled out a old hellimax axe cp. it has a belt drive tail rotor and a powerful motor. It's not typical. Problem is when I hit the throttle. My swash goes down instead of up. I think I have my dx7 programmed wrong. I'm still trying to figure the whole programming thing out. Anyone know the fix?

go into your setup menu and go to the swash mix. If it is set lets say at +60 set it to -60, and that will revearse the travel.
Jimmy, If it looks like a heli I like it.

Forget what the swash is doing, is the blade pitch going the right way? Not all heli swashes go up when you move the stick up!

Jimmymc is right in that that is how you reverse aileron, elevator and pitch direction. IF your PITCH is reversed you want to change the PIT. value from a + to a - or vise versa. If you want to increase or decrease aileron, elevator or pitch throw you would increase or decrease these numbers in the swash mix menu.
60% of the time, it works every time!
