T-rex 250 tail wag
I just replaced the tail servo with a Spektrum H3000 Digital Servo and I cannot get rid of the tail wag. I have adjusted the Gyro Sens in my DX7 from (L)60 to(H)75. Anything above or below this, the heli spins in circles. Any suggestions?

if the heli spins in circles the servo may move the opposite way the other servo did.did you check the new servo moves the proper direction?Compass helis Support Team

He said it had a wag, which indicates it's working in the right direction.

I'd check your tail linkage to make sure it's free. Make sure the ball on your servo is only out far enough to get to both stops at full travel - 100 ATV. Check your tail blade bearings by pulling the blades and twisting. Any notchiness will cause the wag you describe.

+1 tail grip bearings. Also check to see if there is any tightness in the links, maybe some loctite in a pivot joint or too tight of a screw.

How far out did you put the ball joint on the servo arm? 4.5mm or so for a 250.
