ok so there is the Vireo Bell 47g there's the Hirolbo Bell 47g
and just to confuse things even more there is the Morley Bell 47g
now I know this is an old thred but dose any one know what the size difference is between the three I know the Morley is 1/9 scale
will any of the parts from the other two fit

as you say the morley is a 1/9th scale and was classed by morley helicopters as a 40 size model

the hirobo gasser g1 and g2 are the old 60 class machine, possible 1/6 scale

vario make a range
nitro and gasser 1/6 scale
and the gasser 1/4 scale

none of the hirobo or vario parts will fit the morley

some of the vario parts can be made to fit the hirobo

if you want parts for a vario buy vario parts

with the morley 47 you can retro fit the hirobo shuttle rotor head onto it
you may be able to fit the trex 500 head onto it but i'd check to see what blades are available as the root thickness is a problem if you try to go too long on the 500 head

you can also do an electric conversion on the morley bell 47
and it flies better than nitro powered

Hi and thanks for the information it looks like I will have to convert my 1/9 scale up to a 1/6 scale as I am in need of a bubble and cockpit
I suppose it is my own fault for buying off e-bay and not checking that parts are still available

one thing I am not sure on is how to extend the lattice tail boom
drive wires are not a problem as it is easy to get hold of
16 gauge and 18 gauge wire same as fuel tanks

ah well such is life
