Align is more compact is lighter but has little to no suport.

Sullivan is us made has 2 year warranty and has parts and customer supper not to mention more power uses common starter shafts bolt on or adapt to the airplane style. Can use any common 3-6cell lipos that might be laying around.

I payed 110 for the dynatron and cheap heliwand to my door already had the 4cell battery.

I don't regret it at all. Ill never need to buy another starter payed slightly less the what a align cost but got a lot more for my money.

I was going to buy an align starter and then read that you have to change the shaft because it will round off in no time. I also have used one before and thought it vibrated like a paint shaker.Mark

thats also what i was finding from research. the align gear system kinda makes ratcheting effect and is suposebly hard on shafts luckily ill never find out if thats true since i have dynatron thats all motor with no gears and is smooooooooooth

ohhh your talking the starter wand shaft. i noticed they make heavy duty ones. mostly likly the align is just a cheap garbage shaft, but i also just bought a very cheap garbage shaft for my dynatron because i couldnt afford the 60 -90 suposebly baddas ass heli shafts so ill use what i have till it rounds off.

As Sullivan-biased as you think that video may be, watch how the guys hand blurs at the 50 second mark. That part isn't faked or exaggerated. It is a very funny video, though.  ▲

I average about 10 mAh per start. Never used over 200 mAh even on a bad day - like when your diaphragm sticks. Ancient "dynatron":

yeah right about the same here im 10-12 mah depending on the start.

i was thinking i wanted larger mah battery but now im thinking theres no need for it. 1800-2200 is plenty i doubt i make 65 starts in 3 months
