8FG - condition delay & CGY750
Hi,

just querying if 'condition delay' works with the CGY750.

I use switch SF for throttle hold; when coming out of throttle hold i want to ease the throttle back in. So, if I am coming OUT of throttle hold to IDLE UP 3, do i put the condition delay on the IDLE 3 throttle channel and will it (should it!) work as i wish?

Some good stuff here [https://rc.runryder.com/t567976p1/] but just want to check if it applies to CGY750 too. With so much functionality done on the CGY750 instead of the Tx, i want to be sure there is no equivalent function in the CGY.

thanks again.

It'll work.

It's pretty easy to check. Set up your desired delay on the governor speed selection channel in your radio. Then pull up the rpm screen on the 750. What you should expect to see as the rpm count back at a rate corresponding to the delay instead of just snapping back up to your idle up rpm when you click off throttle hold.

Make sense?

Thanks.
I put the delay value of 10 on the throttle channel in idle 3.

So, when I switch from hold back to idle 3 I can see the throttle servo travel from idle to full throttle is slower. But the display value in the CGY does not rise incrementally. It goes instantly from "GV OFF" to "1850".

This is not what you expected, right?

No, read what I wrote more closely. You have to assign the delay to the channel that is controlling the governor speed selection, not the throttle channel. Having the delay on channel 3 only works as desired when the governor is not being used.

Clearer?

Sorry Ben - no excuse for missing that.

Thanks for re-stating.

Ray.
