7200BX with 9303 and a governor
I would like to run my governor from the idle up switch and am having trouble setting this up on the 9303 and the 7200BX since it uses Channel 5 as the Tail Gain channel.

I know that I can adjust my tail gain via the GOV menu now, but I wanted to now run my governor values off the Idle up switch like before getting the 7200BX.

I tried to do a mix from the FMOD->AUX3 but did not seem to work.

Does anyone have know how to set a mix for the FMOD to like AUX3 that I could set values to be triggered by NORMAL/ST1/ST2/HOLD

Thanks.

unfortunately you cant do that. i found that out very quickly, with the 9303 i have mine running off the aux 2 switch turning the gov on/off manually. this is the one flaw that could afford to be corrected on this unit.

I was able to do it on my 9303. I will have to take another look as to how, but I think it was just a matter of using the gov menu for tail gain and gyro menu for governor setting (doesn't that make a lot of sense)Hello, my name is Tony and I'm a heli addict...

Dude you rock! That was it.

I set the Gear channel to GOV mode in device select and AUX2 is set to GYR.

Then I plugged the governor sense lead in to Aux2 channel on receiver.

In the governor menu, the + and - values work to control the tail gain.

In the Gyro Sense menu I set the INH to AUTO and configured the Pos.0, 1 and 2 for the governor settings. The only difference is that 50% is actually ZERO. So in Pos.0 I have the value at 50% and my governor is OFF. Pos.1 is at 75% and that is like 50%.

Thanks a bunch. Yes that was not very intuitive.

Glad I could help, still as others have mentioned why would Spektrum/JR/Horizon make this so unintuitive? My understanding is with the 11X you can assign any channel to any function, but lets face it there are still a few 9303s and 9503s out there.lolHello, my name is Tony and I'm a heli addict...

That is cool. I was going to get a 7200BX but the incompatibility with the 9303 made me pause. Now I can go on with my plans.

i set one up this way as well, it works but its not ideal. They should do an update that lets you change the output for those 2 channels.Trex 700, Trex 600n
