You should be able to track it online if you sent in the paperwork with it. Otherwise, PM Krysta.Team Synergy/Rail, Team Scorpion, YS Engines, VelTye

Completely disagree.

I'll never send any of my Futaba gear to the USA office ever again. 35 years using their gear and they treat you like S$$$$t

Japan it is from now on.

Took about a week for me not long ago... Excellent service!

I sent in a crash damaged item and received a sweet discount on a replacement.

Turn around time is as good or better than most. If you have a problem, just talk to them. They will make it right. A+ in my book for 40+ years. The older I get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

I just sent in a old tail servo that quit 9251 I think anyway they said it wasn't fixable and gave me the option to buy a new 9256 for 80 bucks. They didn't have to do that as the old servo had seen better days so yeah 2 thumbs up for Futaba service!

I sent a fried R6014HS receiver and they wanted to charge me $20 over street price for a new one or $50 to get it back as it was.

How is that good service?

I am sure in Japan this would have been absurd.

I was extremely disappointed. After all these years of patronage...

Well, you said it was fried. So other than shipping to them to have them tell you "yup, it's fried", what exactly did you lose. It's a pain to find it and send it back right? I'm mean remember, it's fried. Just saying man, put it in their perspective for a second. They're not a hobby shop so they probably don't really want to send you another one so they price it so you don't make them have to.

Buy a replacement from who you bought your first one from is my first thought. But I mean come on man, you said it yourself that you knew it was fried. What were you trying to accomplish other than maybe you'd luck out and they'd flip part of the bill for you frying your stuff.

Just playing devil's advocate here wondering why they didn't do more for you unless it was a situation similar to what I detailed above.

The question is, HOW did your receiver get "fried" in first place?
And did it smell like canola oil when you sent it in?

It was fried because the BEC on an ESC gave in. Not saying it wasn't my fault. I sent it in for repair, not for replacement. The very last thing I expected was to be presented with a "Deal", and overpriced even...

After, I talked it over with my buddies at the field and ALL said it served me well to be so stupid to send it to Futaba USA. I heard bad stories about them and others of what Fut Japan does in contrast and even stories about what JR does for their customers to keep them happy.

Sorry to say so but you guys settle for peanuts.
