Blade 450X
So I saw that on both bladehelis.com and Horizon Hobby, the Blade 450X is showing as in stock now. I have a Blade 450 3D and Raptor 50 Titan FBL

I was wondering if the experts around here could tell me if they think the 450X will be a much better flying heli than the 450 3D. At this point my skill set is not 3D flying, just sport flying at this point, but I am definately intrigued by the 450X

Awesome...I am reading good things about it. I was hoping it would be a more stable, better flying heli. Just trying to justify the expense. Definately not cheap, thats for sureFly it like your stole it!!!!!

I've got six flights on my 450X now. I am really impressed with how the model flies. Just bought another battery for it too.
For the money, it is really tough to beat! I still can't believe I got a complete AR7200BX, a speed controller, servos, battery and a decent helicopter for the money.

I've only done a little tweaking to suit my flying style. I use a JR 12x so the setup for the radio wasn't included in the instructions; if you've every set up a heli before, it's a no-brainer.

The only thing that I found was that it was worth my time to do a setup with the Beastx to tweak the servo arm position and control rod length. It wasn't perfect out of the box and I ended up re-positioning just 1 servo arm and adjusting 2 control rods to get zero pitch at the Beastx' reference position (setup menu).

All-in-all, Eflite have done a great job with this model and I think it is truly great value for money.

This afternoon, I flew, funnels, tic-tocs, pirouetting funnels and pirouetting flips and came away with a smile on my face after 4 minutes.
