k-max help please
evening all , i`ve started puting together a k-max , none scale heli out of two rex 600e pro helis , my questions , where do i post it on here and how does the rudder work ? should they tilt front and back opposite , thanks ady

I would think a mixing board like they use for the scale Chinook helicopters would be the easiest. There has to be a way because that type of helicopter has been modeled before. Good luck...

As far as I can remember to yaw one rotor tilts forward and one tilts back. I agree you might need to adapt a chinook mixer

A Chinook mixer should work well, it'll just fly 90 degrees out from a Chinook.

And I wouldn't spool that up indoors - just in case.

but on a K-max, I Believe its done with tabs on the rotor blades themselves

Full size Kamans have used tabs, most notably the Husky from Vietnam, but in RC applications the only practical way to do it is a tandem mix we of some sort.

hello all , thank you for your replys , i do have on board a helitronix mixer , which i have used on my tandems many times , if i can`t work it out with that i have a chap chum who can work it out with three csm cyclocks , will keep ya posted , if you come across any info that would be handy i`d love to see it , thanks ady
