spiderco.

it looks great. my question is how do you like the way it flies?? also i put some old predator spacers between the landing struts and frame base plate to give a little more ground clearance for the pull start casing.

Yes definately
I use rubber spacers on my landing gear as well. Got them from Irwin at QWW, they are like $20 for a set of 4 shipped or so. Stronger than the JR ones and will help you by raising the model about 5/8 inch.

Torque and raja,

Good idea on the spacers but I like the LOWRIDER look.

This thing flies like its on rails, very solid and stays where I put it. It needed two clicks of left trim and the blades tracked perfectly.

I haven't really pushed it yet but I can tell this will be my favorite in the stable.

Its all good
But if you auto down and have a hard landing you can possibly break the starter plastic cage. I've seen that happen before in FL to someone else in December of 2010.

Evan,

Thanks for the compliments. No photos under the hood just yet, still in the set up stage. Once all is good, I'll tidy it up and take some shots.

Hey Tom
Here is the link:

Those are good and durable, you'll need the right length screws from each end to mount them (they are not bolt through), which you should have already.
