It lets poor people have access to health care thats what they all think and it does not matter if it drives up costs because the people benefiting from obamacare are not paying the bill.

And THAT is the saddest part of all. The average American moron thinks he's going to get free health care now. No, it won't be any more free than it is today or was 40 years ago. The president and his staff has done a very poor job (on purpose no doubt) of actually explaining to people that not only will they not have health care anymore than they do now, but now if you can't afford insurance, you're going to get a bill from the IRS leaving you even less money to gain coverage. These mouth breathing, retarded Obama voters just don't get it.
I don't understand why the right isn't out there POUNDING everyday letting uninsured people know they're going to be getting a nice little surprise when they file their 2014 taxes.

Regarding the obamacare church issue, they have already caved and will change the rule so that's old news already.

The thing about uninsured getting mad about an increase in taxes is not going to hurt dems because dems fall into these buckets:

Poor - will get the free insurance and too poor to pay taxes anyway.

Public sector or union worker - they already have the best health insurance already so they will not feel anything from obamacare.

Very rich - won't feel a thing.

The thing about the right getting out there and hitting the streets, we can't we are too busy working and don't get paid time off to go protest.

^^^^^^yep, well said. Even though I'm for some kind of reform
that is the reality. Sending in a big tax check today and I know
people that pay nothing (and almost proud of it)

yeah, but if I'm not mistaken, there will still be no FREE coverage. Free maybe in the sense that you can get treated regardless in an ER, but not free in the sense you can go to a doctor for simple visits and they'll take you in and write it off (unless of course, you're on Medicaid).
The idiots actually think they'll now be able to go a family doctor and get treated for a hangnail for free. That ain't gonna happen anymore than it does now (which it doesn't).

I am pretty sure obamacare extends medicaid (which is better than medicare) to families that make under $45,000 per year and for the first time ever single dudes that fall under the income limits for obamacare can get medicaid, sad we are creating a bunch of wussies. Medicaid is 100% paid by gov't while medicare is 80/20. Then for the families that make $45,000 to ~%70,000 they will get gov't help to pay for insurance if the cost is over a certain threshold.

I used to know all the details but now I forget them so I might be a little off on the exact figures but those are very close. I used to have the entire bill as pdf but have a new computer so it's gone.

Also keep in mind that this sounds so awesome we are helping people out, just remember where the gov't money comes from. Also remember insurance is a business and a business cannot stay in business if they are not making money. Most insurance companies are public so they have to satify investors and a board of directors. They do not like when you operate in the red so when obama comes out and says "I feel that insurance companies should be forced to cover xyz." That means the insurance companies have to add the cost of that coverage to everyone's bill because nothing is free and they cannot operate in the red.

Awwww, that one's easy: the Govt printing presses!!
Also remember insurance is a business and a business cannot stay in business if they are not making money
They WILL stay in business, even at a loss, if the regime orders it.
That means the insurance companies have to add the cost of that coverage to everyone's bill.
I believe this is how "cost-shifting" works. And precisely how you can fleece the ignorant and naive into thinking they're getting something for free.

THAT'S IT! Freebies!! Go Barry Go! Save Us!!

I agree 1800!!! 100%. Though if what you say is true, I can go see a doctor for the first time in years, though I'd be torn, because I don't believe in taking anything from the government.
Hopefully my work will continue to pick up like it has the last 2 weeks and stay that way, then I can afford all the insurance I'd ever need.
I haven't seen the numbers you posted, though I do believe you as it would fit his agenda to get even more people sucking on the teet and in the end, this is what it's all about for the Bummer.

Dennis, ofcourse rising gas prices can be a testament o
a improving economy, demand goes up etc, oil is a global commodity
after all. I do think they should build the pipeline because the more options we have the better.

I thought that rising gas prices was caused by the Pres. selling out to the oil companies? That was what all of the left kept saying about Bush! Obama and his oil baron backers have raised the price of gas way more than when Bush was Pres. so why does Obama get a pass on this?Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!
