The pain won't be a problem! I saw a special on TV about using a close-line pin on your ear lobe to relieve the pain. I always wanted to try it on someone. Start the drilling!

I also stayed at a holiday inn once.

Have fun while it last!

Had fun Saturday. After taking apart my head on the 450 I did find a long slither of metal in the swash ball. I will just wait for my new swash to come in before putting it back together. That means both my 450's are on hold until that order comes in. One the tail servo and this one the swash. Hope you all got some good flying in today! I had to goto the boo at the zoo today. Payment for getting out yesterday lol!

Eagles Associates Open House
We had a great turnout on Saturday for a great day of flying and hanging out with old and new friends. There must have been 30-40 people braving the cold Saturday afternoon. The brisket was very tasty as well as the pasta salad's, cookies and treats! Thank you to everyone that came out and participated! Can't wait for Stix to get the pictures posted soon! I took a few with my phone, so take a look!

Open House Photos
Here are my pics from the Open House this past weekend. Definitely a big success as Helishelter pointed out. Good people, good food, and plenty of flying despite the cold temps!

Open House
Nice job with the photo's Stix! Thanks for posting the picture of our pet "Buck", I hope he's still around in a couple of weeks! Last count, there were over 35 people at the open house, and that's just the one's I knew, not counting the kids that came out as well! Great to see the member's of KC Heli coming out to fly with us!

Great open house
It was great day. Good food, good friends. It was a great turn out for a cool day. The new barrel stove works like a champ. It puts out so much more heat and no more smelling like smoke.
Great pics Splinterheart.
Thanks to KC Heli for hanging out and flying with us.

That second HB800 gyro I got seems to have some issues. It could be as simple as the pots need to be worked. Today after about a minute it started going nuts. I was able to auto it and didn't do any damage, but it is shelved unless someone needs a FBL 450.

Looks pretty good, Micah! You'll have to let us know how it flies since my DFC seemed to make quite a difference. However, I forgot to mention that I think I might have figured out why I was having trouble with my DFC....

When I put the DFC head on originally, I set the pitch range to be 13 degrees both up and down, but last weekend I decided to put my pitch guage on and discovered that it was 16 positive and 9 negative! I have no idea how the BeastX got so out of whack, but I reset it to 12 pos and 12 neg, and it flew considerably better. . It's still different but at least it's more "manageable" during 3D maneuvers.

Glad you got it figured out! I got a few flights in the wind. I may check my beast again, because it really seamed to jump up and down in the wind a lot more. Almost like a fly bar.

Just realized that is not stove pipe at the field, but air duct. I think it will be lucky to last the winter.
