Can you just grab the corner of the window and resize it? Click and drag the corner where you want it and then close the program. It should save the last size and position that the window is in.

Or maybe I don't understand the problem exactly?

I grab the bottom right corner and made the window full size. I then closed out of that window. I reopened that window and came back in half screen.

Meeting on Saturday
Hey guys, we're having our monthly meeting on Saturday (8/11) and I don't really have an agenda at this point. (Yeah, I should have brought it up a few days ago.) If you have anything that you would like to have discussed at the meeting, please email or PM me.

(info@eaglesassociates.com)

Thanks!

Ah, yes, the meeting will be at 10:00am, thanks Micah! I won't be there, unfortunately, because I'll be on the road to Indiana, hopefully by 7:00am.

Man... I hope there's a bunch of people flying at the field tomorrow and taking advantage of the weather. Mostly sunny, 4~6 mph winds, high of 87. If I didn't have my trip, I'd be at the field all day!

This just sucks the big one, We have a luncheon at our house tomorrow and I just know it will last all day! I'll just be dazing out the window looking at the trees, cool temps and no wind. Look I have an idea why don't all of you just come to my house and eat up all the food, fly noisy nitro helis in the back yard and all the people will leave then my wife will be pissed and tell me to get out! Yeah now that's an idea!

I just finished reading "the last chapter of whats the use/ or how to fly Helicopters"

Started work on the 450 with the HB800 and so far it is exactly the same as the beast, minus the RX setup menu. Looks like I got a working one masterblader. Now if my replacement tail boom for it will show up I can start testing.

Have fun while it last!

I actually got my HB800 in the mail today and I've already tested it - it does work. I'm going to try to test it tomorrow - see if it'll work on my DFC 500.

If this gyro works well, then this heli should be a really sweet setup. I'm anxious to feel the difference of the lower profile head.

Dialed in my Trex 500 clone with the HB800-FBL Gyro last night (Sunday). Took it to the field today - since it was cold and windy I thought, what better time to dial in a heli, right?

This is my setup: 500 clone, new OWB (Align), new landing gear (Align), DFC head (Align, so much for cheap!), OrangeRX 7 channel receiver, HB800-FBL, new tail rotor and linkage (Align), Turnigy Nano-tech 2650mah, Turnigy Typhoon 500 (1600kv), Turnigy dlux 70amp ESC.

HiTec HS-5245MG's for cyclic and Align DS520 tail servo. These were the priciest part of the heli but I bought them on eBay, so I did better than retail.

I've been getting pretty good at dialing in the main rotor and tail before flying. This time was no exception - she lifted off the pad and was very stable, even in the 12mph breeze - no tracking adjustments (must be lucky I guess!)

Got tail wag almost immediately with my transmitter set to 68%, so I landed and dialed it back to 62% - wag went away completely, tail holding like a rock.

I had a suspicion that this Turnigy motor would be seriously powerful, so I set my throttle curve to 90% across the entire range for idle up. When I switched from hover to idle up she roared and sounded like I was well over 3000rpms. Probably need to push that back down to 80% or setup the governor. This motor does have incredible power - like STUPID power (for a $31 dollar motor, I'm shocked - gotta keep it oiled though, and it comes oil free, so... a little Scorpion grease and she's good).

I have the helical gears on order because she whines a lot in idle up. However, when I flew across the field from one end to the other, I gave her full positive pitch and she was screaming across the field like there was no wind.

The only adjustments I had to make were to the tail. The DFC head and this HB800 gyro feel incredible! I rolled it, flipped it, piro'd it and she actually held together, so I am very happy - finally got my 500 up and running and she flies like a dream!

All for $300 (ah-hem...) dollars! Yay!
