if I get my parts tomorrow I think I can have my heli together buy Saturday and make it to the field I will post here If I am going.
I plan on being there Sat as well. Don't know if I"ll have my tree trimmer back together or not.
I decided to take it all apart and rebuild it - main bearings were pretty bad, and tail grip bearings were getting rough too. Bullet connectors on motor were getting pretty weak and pitted on the ends. Finally replaced the dented tailboom...etc.

I'll at least be flying the OHE though.

I hope I can be there as well. This replacement radio has given me a lot of headaches, but I think I am getting the hang of it. Just today I found out how to change models

Also I found out the insurance is not going to pay for my radio. Statefarm Pays after you replace your losses (with the exact same product) and then gives you a rebate. Yea so it seems I was stolen from without any insurance and as a bonus my car (even though they couldn't help me) is going to go up 5% just because I submitted a claim. My house is going up 20% because I now insure other peoples property even though I didn't have that before, but because of my claims they have put it in. Dave where are you? These guys are running all over me.

I have added everything up with what they won't pay and I will need to pay them $500 and now will pay them another $2000 in increases. Again why do we pay them?

Good question, Micah. Almost sounds like you'd be in the same boat if you hadn't been insured at all.

That's exactly why we are not with State Farm anymore...after 27 years. One claim for hail damage to my roof, and rates on everything went up. I'm no expert here, Micah, but I can tell you about who we went with...way better service and about 1/3 less than we paid State Farm before they raised our rates - wish I hadn't waited so long to change.

Spent the day taking off my helicommand and putting the FuBar on that I got a year ago. I put it on my logo. The helicommand never worked right out of the box. I even upgraded it last year to the extreme hoping that would help. The control always seemed way high even after the extreme upgrade and expo set incredibly high. It always had a glitch in the tail every four or five seconds. I have only experienced that kind of glitch with bad gyros out of the box. With the super fast MKS760p tail servo it was flyable. Have the Fubar on at 760 and no glitches at all.

It was the HC3X base, but because it had issues I went ahead and paid $50 for the upgrade that made it a Extreme. That basicly just unlocked a lot of tail setting.
