________** ** FOXWOOD SPRINGS - NEXT SATURDAY ** **_________
Next Saturday, September 14th, we will be having an all day demonstration fly-in at Foxwood Springs retirement community, on the back portion of the property, starting at 10:00am (However, you can arrive as early as 9:00am, if you like.)

The address is 1500 W Foxwood Dr, Raymore, MO 64083

We will also be having our monthly club meeting at this location! Flying will begin after the meeting.

Click here for a Google map.

Here is a view of the grounds showing how to get to the flying area behind the main complex. I highlighted one route, but you can go either way around to get to the back. You'll need to go past the maintenance buildings to get to the service driveway.

For those of you who have not been there before, this is a very large open grass field and is great for flying!

We will not be providing any food at this event, so bring your own food and beverages if you want. (There are also a variety of fast food restaurants nearby along HWY 58.)

If you're planning on attending, please bring a table and/or popup tent if you have them. And of course, don't forget a lawn chair and your helicopter(s)!

Hope to see you there!

~=S=~

Pascal, Daryl is talking about the DFC upgrade to my 500. He helped me finish the BeastX and mechanical setup. I am VERY thankful. By the time we finished I only had time to hover it for one battery, but I really liked it!

went to the field Sunday about 1:00 nobody there, temp was 103 acording to the read out in my van, it is accurate to plus or minus 1 degree. It was HOT! How hot was it you ask? It was so hot the wasp were not flying they were all huddled up under the shelter on one of the support poles. It would have been a good time to thin them out if I would have had some wasp spray! I think I will hitch a ride with Oppie and just stay in Colorado. I can take the cold but not the HEET.
It was even to hot for the Gay's nobody in the parking lot either.

So Chet the translation of "bruchgefahr" from the German is "Fracture risk"
so is it possible when your wife sees this on the CC
you might get a fracture?

Nope...truth is, she's the only one that knew!

I still have a lot to learn and a lot to buy before I finish this one...it will be next year before it flies.
