Rob suggested i do a "proper" tail setup
-Center Servo @ 90 degree's using the trim menu
-In rate mode, use the tail linkage/control rod adjustment to stop or get close to stopping all drift in a hover.
**Keep in mind you will need to adjust your limits.

Once put back into headhold mode the tail should be perfectly locked in and no drift at all.
which i have not done yet, i guess i'm only used to setting up the tail with the skookum 720 which is setup quite dif but now i know, thanks again Rob !

It really is not necessary, I usually just make sure at 90*, and in rate mode there is only a slight drift. Setting up your tail the way I suggested is really the "correct" way though.

Is it possible that a extremely high amount of vibrations could be passing into the unit through the wires etc.?

There was one time that I had the wires on my Furion 6 getting compressed by the canopy and the tail drifted because the vibrations going directly into the unit were extremely high. Even know the Helicommand is know to be one of the best when it comes to vibration, that does not mean it is immune.

it's on a mini protos and thats an all belt drive heli (i'm sure you already know Rob) which is pretty hard to get extremely high vibs on it ?

and the drift is just on the rotation of the tail counter clockwise and very slowly.....
